PTI October Blog Hop

Hello~~ I'm playing along with this month's PTI Bloghop.  Here's the pretty fall inspiration Nichole picked out.
Blog Hop

Here's my take on this:
I started by cutting a piece of wood plank patterned paper using a stitched rectangle.  I cut a smaller stitched rectangle out of parchment paper and stamped a music print in the background using Fine Linen ink.  I then stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from New Every Morning, in black.  The corner spray is made using Holiday Greens.
I popped the largest pine cone from Holiday Greens up using a foam square to add depth and dimension.

I sure would appreciate your time to leave a comment.  They're always much appreciated and I can be sure to visit you in return!
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings~ Birgit

Beautiful card, Birgit! Love the coloring, and the way you tilted the music paper. the emboss is beautiful too, looks like bronze, but just read it's in black. Have yet to use 'New Every Morning', and know you use it often. Such lovely scripture. Have to get into that stamp set!
