PTI Make-It Monday Monochrome Shaker Card

Good morning friends~  I'm playing along with this week's Make-It Monday challenge with Stephanie.  She showed us all about making a monochrome card with a pop of color.
So my idea didn't turn out as monochrome as I thought it would but I still like how it came out.
It was monochrome until I decided to add the die cut newsprint paper to the back because I was short on time and wanted to put this together quickly.  I used Friendship jar to create a shaker and those lovely tulips from Friendship Jar Spring Fillers, colored with Copics.

You can find all the details and watch Stephanie's  video HERE.

I'll be adding this card to the following challenges:
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes
Simon Says Monday Challenge ~ Happy Birthday
Seize The Birthday ~ Tie One On

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings~ Birgit

Haha I love this. One of my favorite quotes is by Pablo Picasso: "I begin with an idea and then it becomes something else." This is the perfect example of this! Your card is simply gorgeous. Beautiful job. :)
