12 Kits of Occasion ~ April

Good morning friends~  The end of April is here and that means it's time for the gals from 12 Kits of Occasion to post their projects.

This month's kit comes from Lisa Elton of My Paper Tales.  Lisa's sweet CAS style is totally reflected in her darling kit she entitled "My Little Chickadee".
So "tweet"!  (see what I did there?) ;0)

I loved the papers she included from October Afternoon.  Is anything any sweeter than this feather paper??  Wish I had more of that!

I used a scrap of printed paper from the kit and cut several skinny ovals to create this coneflower using the sentiment, which I love!  I added some bees from Honeybee Stamps Happy Fall Y'all.

I made two notecards using these sweet images from Impression Obsession.
I added just a bit of detail and color to each of the image using colored pencils and copics.

Lisa included lots of these darling little chickadee's in her kit so I'll have plenty for future projects.
Thanks Lisa for a darling kit!

Be sure to check out the 12 Kits of Occasion blog to see how my talented team mates used this month's sweet kit.

Thanks for stopping by!

Your bit of coloring on those sweet images was really the perfect touch, Birgit! But! I never would have thought to use that circle [a favorite song] as the cone of a Coneflower! I say to myself, what a wonderful idea! Every card is a treasure! xx

Hi Birgit! Beautiful cards! Where to start? Loving the clean black and white uncolored bird #3. It looks like you sketched the bird by hand! I love how you added the flower petals to the "Wonderful World" too so that it looks like a flower! So creative!

Birgit so many lovely cards this month. I always find it so fun to see what additions you use for your cards. Those sweet bees and the different dies you added. Pairing that sentiment with the feather paper was such a great idea! Beautiful!

I love all your bird themed cards, and how you made that flower out of ovals, the bees are a cute touch. That feather paper looks like you had die cut them and made a background.

Adore every card and those adorable little note cards! Your additions of color are just the right touch. Especially love your very creative bee design! Those little guys are so cute and what a wonderful way to create your sunflower.
