Good morning ~ I'm popping in with a card I made for the PTI Make-it Monday Challenge, creating ombre watercolored backgrounds. This technique was easy and fun and definitely one I'll use again.
This wasn't intended to go in the direction of a fall card, but I pulled out Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup and Summer Sunrise for my background and when I was finished with it, it just looked like it was made for a fall card. So there you go!
I used leaves from Embellished Elegance for the background and then stamped on the Autumn Beautiful Berries, because it had yet to see ink. The sentiment was heat embossed in copper, though it was hard to get a good photo because of the light I use when photographing my cards. I added a Kind of Corny Indian Corn to the bottom.
You can find Betsy's inspiring cards and video here.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is BEAUTIFUL Birgit!! I LOVE your background colors and the copper embossing is the perfect fit for your fall themed card! Isn't it funny how you start out in one direction but the card takes on a direction all it's own that you hadn't planned on sometimes?! The berries and Indian corn were perfect additions also to this lovely, lovely card my friend!! :0)
What a colorful Fall card with your beautiful ombré backdrop, Birgit! I’m eager to try this again using other color trios and Stamp sets as the possibilities look endless now.
Oh, YES, Birgit, I love this! The colors you chose for your gorgeous card are a perfect combination for fall. I love the addition of the bright berries - wonderful stamping in every way!
It makes for a beautiful fall card, always good to be ready for any holiday or season :) I am a bit partial to fall colors myself :)
