Packaging with Printed Papers ~ PTI Make-It Monday

Good morning crafty friends ~ It's been a while since I've been able to play along with PTI's Make-It Monday challenge and I'm glad for the opportunity to spend some much needed time in my craft room doing what I love.

Melissa was up this week with an idea to make treat packaging using printed papers.  Please forgive the horrible photography skills here.  I've been struggling to get good pictures with poor lighting and the fact that I only have my Ipad for taking pictures.  For some reason when my pictures transfer to my computer, they look all washed out and faded so then I have to try to adjust the colors to make them look as close to the real thing as possible.  Anyhow... back to the project.... ooh, butterfly!!!

I used one of the dies from the Post & Parcel kit to make my little treat bag using printed paper from Vintage Linens.

I used the Seasonal Borders: Winter to prettify my package.

You can find all the details of the challenge and join in on the fun here.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh my gosh Birgit...this is SOOOO pretty! I love the simple treat bag, but the border around the bottom and on the tag is STUNNING!! I love the colors you used too!! I haven't gotten mine out to play yet, but really need to after seeing this beauty!! No one would care a bit if you left this treat bag empty...the gift would definitely be the packaging!! LOVE it!! :

Stunner, Birgit! How clever to create your own treat holder, and then to add the border on the bottom is just wonderful! And what a darling tag too! Your photo looks great to me, btw!
