Hello~ There's a new challenge starting up over at The Sisterhood of Crafters and we're looking for easel cards.
I enjoy making easel cards but I don't make them often enough. They're the kind of card that has that wow factor when opened.
For this card, I used the elegant dies from Creative Expressions, Australian Collection. The background and the Brisbane label are from two different sets but they're made to go together.
I cut both of them from gold mirrored cardstock and backed them with white.
I also layered on pink and red cardstock to coordinate with the rose image that I found online and printed on my computer.
The final touch is the bow that was cut using Memory Box Stitched Bows. This card will go to my hubby's mom for Mother's Day. I love how this turned out!
Thanks for stopping by!
