Hello there! Double D Challenges is starting a new challenge today and the theme is "April Shower". I don't know about you but when it's stormy, wet and the wind is blowing I like to warm up with a hot cup of coffee.
My inspiration for this card comes from the bottom left corner of the mood board.
The raindrops in the photo are depicted in the soft stone polka dotted paper in the background.
I hope you'll join in on the fun here.
Here's the prize that you could win when you play along:
Papertrey Ink Merry Mug, Shape Shifters Oval, Soft Stone Bitty Big Patterned Paper
The Greetery Cozy Cup Coaster
Thanks for stopping by!
Even though I'm not a coffee lover, your card is wonderful Birgit! I love the sentiment, the polka dots, the sweet coffee (or hot cocoa!!) cup, and the cozy cup coaster...they all tie in together to make a warm and friendly card!! Hugs. :0)ReplyDelete
This looks warm and cozy on my snowy morning! Darling card, Birgit. A girl can never go wrong with polka dots!ReplyDelete
This is FABULOUS and I totally agree with you! I'll be right over for that cup of java! LOL (I wish!!)ReplyDelete
so cute, love the different dies you have used with it and the pretty arch of the sentiment, like your sequins on the end of the steam :)ReplyDelete
So glad that you did a different take on this challenge. It is so warm and inviting, who would not want to share a cup with you on a rainy day. A great way to do raindrops too.ReplyDelete
Rain, snow, sunny, cloudy, windy, or calm? Every day starts right with a cup of coffee for me, Birgit! Having a friend to share it with? Would be so delightful!ReplyDelete
LOve your cup, the polkas, and that sweet little napkin, too!
That is a gorgeous card. I love the little coffee scene you made.ReplyDelete
What a beautiful take on the challenge! Nothing like a cup of coffee on a rainy day. The steam from the cup looks like a fountain that showers sequins!ReplyDelete
