Add To Cart ~ Spellbinders

Hello friends, I'm back today with two more cards using the fun "Add To Cart" collection from Spellbinders.  

I've gone shopping once again and filled my cart with loads of summer colored items for my home and garden. 

 

Isn't this shopping cart just the cutest?  And look at the goodies I found to put in my cart.  I filled the Right Facing Cart with items from the Shopping Run die set and Plant It Here die set.  Each of these sets have a plethora of amazing finds that you can use with the cart or as stand alone dies.

This next card, I used just the plants and boot dies from the Plant It Here collection.  I wanted to show you that you can use these collections apart from the Shopping Cart and still make delightful cards.

Monochromatic ~ Double D Challenges

Hello friends~  There's a new challenge starting up over at Double D Challenges, and the theme is "monochromatic".

To make my card, I pulled out Pink Fresh Studio Mini Slimline Stitched Scalloped Rectangle to make the frame on this mini slimline card.  

I stamped the collaborative set, "Better Together" from Hero Arts & Reverse Confetti.  I backed it up using a piece of coordinating gingham printed paper.

The sentiment is preprinted from Pink Fresh Studio Ephemera Pack Foiled Sentiments.  I also made a coordinating envelope using Pink Fresh Studio Mini Slimline Envelope die set.

Ocean Shadowbox Card ~ DRU

Hey there ~ I'm so glad you're here today!  I have a pretty ocean themed shadow box card for you, as part of the new challenge that's starting up over at Dies R Us.

I started by cutting the Tutti Designs Slimline Stitched Collage die out of white cardstock, layering over a piece of soft blue cardstock and mounting it to the front of a slimline card base.  

Next, I cut all kinds of seaside treasures to fill the boxes with.

Spellbinders ~ Add To Cart Release

Hello friends ~  I'm here with you today with a couple of cards I made using dies from the newest addition to the Add To Cart collection by Becky Roberts, at Spellbinders.

This release pushes all the buttons for the Green-thumb within me.

This first card is pure delight!  I start every spring season off, with a trip several trips to the local gardening centers and greenhouses in my area, looking to see what I might add to my extensive flower beds.  

There is a Right Facing Cart and a Left Facing Cart in this collection.  I filled the Right Facing Cart with accessories from the In The Garden die set.  There are 14 dies in this set, with so many fun accessories to choose from.  

This card is made using the Mini Slimline Envelope & Nested Card Creator.

I wanted to show you how you can use the dies independently of the shopping cart die, so the second card uses the rake and shovel from In The Garden, to which I added the "happy birthday" sentiment from Layered Mix & Match Sentiments.  The plant and watering can are from the Plant It Here die set, which you'll see more of in a future post.

Spellbinders May Club Kit Blog Hop & Give Away

Everything about this month’s Club Kit is super adorable and can be used for many occasions!!  The koala die set in this month's kit was just too cute not to use again.  I used printed papers and one of the chipboard sticker sentiments to create this CAS design.

This card came together in a snap, and I think it came out super cute!

For the Birds ~ Double D Challenges

Good morning, friends~ I'm so glad you stopped by!  Today's slimline card was made for the new challenge starting up over at Double D Challenges, where the theme is "Birds / Nest / Birdhouse".

I started by stenciling a cloudy background, using Tumbled Glass DOX ink onto a piece of 80# Neenah Solar White cardstock.  I cut the stenciled panel using Pinkfresh Studio's Blank Stitch Slimline die and framed it using a piece of brown cardstock.  

The birdhouse is Spellbinders Build A Winter Birdhouse.  I did a little bit of distressing around the edges of the birdhouse to give it some dimension.  I added some Forget-Me-Not flowers from The Greetery and the larger flower and leaves are an old die set from Papertrey Ink.  

The bird is from Creative Expressions Stitched Festive Birds and the sentiment is also from Creative Expressions, A Litte Birdie Told Me.

Amazing Paper Grace May Club Kit ~ Spellbinders

Hi friends ~ I'm popping in today with a quick post, sharing the card I made using Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace May Kit of the Month.  "Pop Up 3D Vignette What’s Bakin’ Oven"

Isn't this the cutest little oven?  You can use the oven on your cards or create a 3D card that folds flat using the slotted sides.

Spellbinders ~ May Card Kit of the Month

It's the beginning of the month, so you know what that means??  Spellbinders has a new release for all their Club Kits.  Each month when I open a new kit, it feels like Christmas!

This month's kit is called "Koala Smiles" and it is filled with loads of cuteness, flora and fauna from down under.

This card kit includes a 6x6 paper pad, clear stamps, this adorable koala die set, tons of embellishments, and more!  

The floral images in this kit are so beautiful!  I used the clear floral stamp to create the background and simply tucked in some of the floral die cuts, along with this frame and one of the gold foiled sentiments from the kit.

Spellbinders kits always have a touch of elegance using gold or silver accents.

This is one of my favorite cards using the die cuts and chipboard alphabet stickers that are included in the kit.

Not only do these kits have all these decorative elements, but they also include 10 card bases with envelopes, several sheets of color coordinating cardstock, double sided tape, double sided foam dimensional squares and sequins.

Dies R Us ~ Seahorse

Hello friends!  There's a new challenge starting up over at Dies R Us and the theme is "Anything Goes".

Today's card brings me back for a visit to the depths of the sea, using Elizabeth Craft Designs dies.  I started by creating a mini slimline card using Pink Fresh Studio Blanket Stitched Mini Slimline dies. I stenciled the water onto the mini slimline panel using Tumbled Glass and Chipped Saphire Distress Oxide Inks

I cut the Elizabeth Craft Designs Seahorse out of card stock and glitter paper to give this little guy more interest... as if seahorses aren't interesting enough on their own.  Right?  It's hard to see in the photo, but I popped his back fin up using a couple of small foam squares.

I tucked Mr. Seahorse into a bed of Elizabeth Craft Designs Seaweed, all of which got a healthy dose of Wink of Stella
