Hello friends ~ I'm super excited to be joining Nancy Penir and the amazing designers over at PoppyStamps Challenge blog as a guest designer. When Nancy asked if I'd be her guest, I was quick to say "yes", and then she told me the theme was "masculine"...... (cue in long, uncomfortable silence and crickets chirping here...)
If you know me at all, you know I struggle with masculine cards. Nevertheless, it was a good personal challenge for me to come up with a card for the "MY GUY" challenge, using amazing dies from PoppyStamps.

I started by die cutting the background using the Happy Birthday Background, keeping is simple by using white over white. I added a Tall Skyline Tree Frame that I colored using Distress Oxide Inks and sponge daubers. I layered a piece of printed paper in the background for added interest.
I thoroughly enjoyed joining the designers on this month's challenge with PoppyStamps. Their products are always a joy to work with.
Here is a list of links that will bring you directly to the products I used today from PoppyStamps:

Thank so much to Nancy and PoppyStamps, for the opportunity to design with you and your fabulous team. It's been a great blessing to work with PoppyStamps fantastic line of products. Thanks for stopping by!

What an awesome card Birgit!! I absolutely LOVE your background...white on white is such a fabulous look! And you know I have a special place in my heart for Dachshunds because of my 2 granddogs Beamer & Royce, and your little guy holding tight to the balloon bouquet just melts my heart! Cute, CUTE card my friend, and congrats on the GD spot!! Hugs. :0)
Fabulous guy card! Love the pup with a bunch of balloons, on the slimline. Finally able to say, 'thank you' for accepting the invite. You never fail to inspire, both in card making and life! Hugs!
Wait... not a slimline? Oh well, it's a perfect A2!
Loving the tall skinny tree and the long skinny dog! I think your guy will too, Birgit it's a fun card. Congrats on guesting!
Oh that is so sweet, love the patterns in the balloons and the layering of them, the tree finishes off the scene nicely, and love that die you used to frame the scene, love it all!
