Poppy Gift Set ~ Sizzix

Good morning, folks!  I spotted this "Green Thumb" challenge over at The Paper Players and I can't believe I almost missed out on the chance to join.

I love playing in my flower gardens during the summer months and playing with paper flowers in my craft room all year long!

I've had the Sissix Wild Blooms #2 sitting in my NBUS pile for far too long!

I die cut everything out of white and sponged color on using DOX inks.  These flowers look like poppies to me.  What do you think?

I had a flower left over so I made a tag to go with the card, using Impression Obsession's Plaid Tag.  I love the stitched crosshatch layer, and the pinked edge on the bottom..... Sweet!!

Lots of fun was had in the making of this gift set.

There's not much time to play along with this challenge over at The Paper Players.
I'm seriously getting my card in just under the wire.

ETA:  Many thanks to Nancy and the The Paper Players team for choosing my card as their "Headliner"!

Thanks for stopping by!

Your card and tag are both BEAUTIFUL Birgit! They look like a cross between Poppies and Morning Glories to me, but whatever they are, they're FABULOUS!! And colored beautifully too with the soft centers colored!! Lovely, lovely card/tag set my friend!! Hugs. :0)

I agree, dig in the dirt when you can and paper garden the rest of the year! These are beautiful and yes, they do look like poppies. Beautiful dies, love your shading and that lovely sentiment and that strip of black and white striped paper--I love adding that too! Soul Sisters! ;)

Congrats on your card being the headliner, it is beautiful as well as the tag, like how you tied them together with the ribbon. Lovely flowers and such pretty shading on the leaves!
