Vintage Valentine ~ Double D Challenge

Hello friends!  Double D Challenge is back with a new challenge, using the color "RED".

This challenge was a great opportunity to use these delightful vintage rub-ons that I purchased last year from Amazon. There are oodles of adorable designs to choose from.  It will take me years to use them all up.  I need to find other ways to use these rub-ons, so if you have any suggestions, leave your ideas in the comments below.

The background is a vintage French receipt that I printed on my home printer.

I added Penny Black Heart Strings that I cut from an Echo Park Cupid & Co. paper pack.
I also used a piece from that paper pack for the background.  I love how this card turned out.  So vintagey and swell!

Join us over at Double D Challenges to see all the sweet designs from the design team.
Here's the inspiration board to help you get started:
And here's the prize that you could win when you play along.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is a delightful, vintage Valentine, Birgit! What a great find with the rub-ons. The postage stamp is fun and I love the die cut heart banner. The background panel is perfect for the sweet girl/boy image.

I adore that printed vintage background for this vintage rub on. So sweet with the heart string and the heart polka dot border. I wonder is the rub on would stick on other surfaces, like cloth.

LOVE your vintage Valentine card! Reminds me of the Valentine's and of course, Valentine box we used to make when we were in grade school and exchange with all our classmates! Guess that makes me 'vintage' too! LOL Beautifully done my friend!!

Oh my goodness that rub on is just the sweetest, I like it on the receipt background, cute heart banner too :)
You do such cute bags and boxes they would be great for adding images to them without the bulk :)

Perfectly vintage and ever so sweet! Maybe you could make Valentine cards for a nursing home or a children's hospital with all of those rub ons for next year??

I love every one of your sweet vintage creations, Birgit, and this is certainly one of them! Your additional touches such as the printed background and heart border add to the beauty and charm. I followed your link and, holy cow, there are a lot of them! I like Lisa's idea of making up a bunch and sharing them.
