Hello friends ~ We just got back from visiting our son and his family in California, and I've slowly been trying to catch up on visiting blogs. We went out to celebrate our sweet "P"s 3rd birthday. They're also coming home for Christmas, so December is flying by like a leaf in the wind. Not much time for crafting, but I have a number of cards that I made last year that I never got around to posting so I figured this was a good time to share, as it fits into a couple of current challenges.
I used some retro style papers and die cuts from Carta Bella.
Don't you just love his rosy red cheeks?
I'll be entering this card into the following challenges:
The Sisterhood of Crafters ~ Anything Christmas
Krafty Chicks Challenge ~ Christmas

Isn't he just the sweetest and jolliest Santa! Yes, I love his rosy red cheeks. What a delightful card, Birgit. So happy you got to celebrate with your sweet "P"! Thanks so much for the merry card I received from you yesterday. Enjoy the holidays with your family xo

I do love the vintage Santa with his rosy cheeks, some of them can look a little scary at times :) Love the tag with the big sentiment too and stitching between the papers!
Glad you were able to go out there and that they will be coming for Christmas too!
I love your retro cards, Birgit! His rosy cheeks and nose are very fitting considering all that frosty weather he's flying through. Fabulous! How wonderful that your family is coming home for Christmas!
Birgit, it’s so wonderful that you are able to see family around the holidays! January will be a perfect time for crafting when everything settles down. But in the meantime, I just have to say that I love love love this card! The vintage vibes are so much fun. Thanks so much for joining us at Word art Wednesday. We have a big blog hop starting tomorrow that will last for three weeks and there will be lots of prizes to be given away. We hope you’ll be able to carve out a little time to join us then!
