It's been a minute since I've spent time in my craft room. Card making has taken a back seat to seed starting indoors. Spring is on the way, friends!
I did manage to get this simple but feminine card made. This lovely embossing folder is called Chinoisery, from Honey Bee Stamps.
I rubbed just the lightest touch of color onto the raised parts using Distress Inks and added a sentiment that also came from Honey Bee Stamps.
I hope you're getting some spring weather where you are. We got 2-3 more inches of snow last night, but I'm not letting that dampen my spring spirit!
I'll be adding this card to the following challenges:
Just Us Girls ~ Word Week ~ "Embossing"
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes

This is SO pretty Birgit!! I love the soft colors on the raised images and how they POP against all the white...a lovely, lovely feminine card! We woke up to a dusting on the ground this morning but more snow coming tomorrow and into Monday...yuck! Temps are supposed to start going up again later next week, so I'm holding out for Spring too!! Hugs. :0)
Oh my, this is so lovely, Birgit. You have such a light touch with the inks and they have highlighted the embossed image beautifully. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
What a pretty card and a marvelous EF! So happy to have you sharing this with us at Just Us Girls, Birgit! Spring can't get here soon enough for me. I look forward to next month when the hummers find their way back to our feeder.
OMWord, this is truly a beautiful embossing folder and with the frame it looks like it should be hung on the wall! The bit of color you added is perfection. I'm smitten!
This is such a pretty card, and I love the raised embossing with the soft color tones. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Word Art Wednesday.
Simply Lovely....all over. Love the lightly inked embossed areas, isn't it so pretty? Had to look up Chinoisery, so now I get it! :) Perfect sentiment too! I just started to think about starting seeds....my goal is for April 1st indoors! Raking yards/gardens as I type lol
Birgit this is such a lovely, feminine card! LOve that embossing folder - although it seems I've yet to meet one that I didn't love!

Gorgeous card Birgit!! Love this beautiful embossed image. So wonderful with the soft touches of colour. Best of luck with your seedlings! Hope the snow is over soon for you. xx
Such pretty softness in the inking of the folder and I like the framing of it too! Yes ready for spring for sure, although once again tonight we had Tornado warnings, the only thing I don't like about spring since we have no basement to run to.
Hope all goes well with your seedlings!
I thought I had already posted on your card but don't see it here so I will say again how I love the soft coloring of the embossing and the way you framed it!
OMG ... this is stunning! I'm addicted to 3D embossing folder and the soft color you've added to this one is perfect! Well done my friend! Hugs
PS ... yes we got more snow too but I did manage to go out and cut a bouquet of daffodils before it hit!! Smells SO GOOD in my kitchen! lol
