CASE This Sketch #171

It's been a busy week and not super productive in the craft room but I found time today to make a card using the sketch from CASE This Sketch
I also used the colors from ColourQ

I used PTI's Petite Pots for all the flowers and set them in and around the wheel barrow from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I grounded the scene using a stitched square frame from MFT.  The little butterflies are from My Creative Time.
I'll also be entering this card into the following challenges:

My First Muse #164!

I just recently discovered the challenge over at Muse and couldn't resist playing along with Michele Ferguson's beautiful inspiration card:
I pretty much was inspired by everything on her fabulous card, as you can see.  I loved the debossed circle as a ground for her focal point.  I used Cheery Lynn's French Pastry Doily and added a couple of fishtail banners instead of just one.  I didn't have a cute bucket to put my cards in so I used Poppy Stamps Watering Can and filled it with some flowers from PTI's Bitty Bouquet.  I just had to add a bit of bling to the side strip by using glitter paper.

I'm also going to be adding this card to the following challenges:

Water Colored Card with PTI

Good morning PTI friends!  Melissa inspired us this week with some beautiful water colored flowers for PTI's Make-It Monday.  You can find the video HERE.
I always seem to do this...  I watch the video on Monday and then make my project on Tuesday morning and forget some of the details of the challenge. I've been wanting to water color this mason jar for a while but never got around to it until this challenge.  I realize now that I was supposed to add the color with a sponge.  Instead, I dropped the color on using a water brush.  I hope this still counts for the challenge.
I cut both the Friendship Jar and the flowers from Vintage Linens from water color card stock and heat embossed them using white embossing powder.   I also heat embossed the sentiment in white and then went to water coloring the images.

I'm really loving this Pretty Frame Cover Plate, so I'm sure you'll be seeing it pop up in lots of posts in the future.
I'm also loving the new Parakeet Green color!!  It's such a pretty spring green.

I'll also be entering this card into the following challenges:

Anyway, I'm so thankful to you for stopping by.  Blessings~ Birgit

75th Birthday

Happy Monday!  I'm popping in with a card for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #9
I went straight through the middle, using Birthday, Sponging and White Space.
I did a little sponging of Peacock Feather distress ink onto the center of my card front and then added one of the frame elements from PTI's Pretty Frame Cover Plate.  The balloons are cut from colored card stock using PTI's Birthday Style set and sponged to add some shadow and dimension.  The strings on the balloons are cut using Lil' Inkers Balloon String Die.  The stamped sentiment is a combination of sets and the "75" was cut using a cricut.  Some sequins finish the card off.

I'm also adding this card to the following challenges:

Playing Along with Tag You're It!

Hello friends~  I hope you're weekend is going well.  Just thought I'd pop in here real quick and post a tag I made for the Tag You're It challenge.
Here's Susan't cute inspiration:
I've been lurking around their blog checking out all the cute entries and didn't think I could play along because I don't have any gnome stamps, but then I remembered that I have my mom's Cricut  so I went searching through the cartridges and found one with this cute little guy.
I'm not that familiar with using a Cricut and it took some time playing around with the buttons to figure how to cut each little element out of different colored card stock but I finally figured it out and was surprised by how they all fit together perfectly.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by.  Blessings~ Birgit
