My Sweet Friend

Good morning PTI friends! It's time for the PTI March Blog Hop. You can find all the details HERE.
Here's the fabulous inspiration photo that Nichole picked out

So fresh and springy, right!
Here's my card:
I started by die cutting the bouquet from Fancy Folk Art out of vellum. I then heat embossed the image in white and colored on the backside with my copics. I used spray adhesive to affix it to a white circle cut with Spellbinders circle die and then attached it to the Tag Sale #4 die. The card base is created with some random paper scraps from my stash and the Heart Border Die from PTI. The sentiment on the banner is from Flower Fusion #11. A piece of ribbon and a little flower sequin finish off my card.

I'm also using this as Day 21 of the 30 day coloring challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit. Have fun on the hop!
Blessings ~ Birgit

Very lovely, love all the different dimension and pattern going on. I love anything that has a doily and it is gorgeous as backing to the main design here.

This is so amazing. Love the vellum embossed in white. Such a beautiful look. And, colored on the back? Brilliant idea. And, good for you for being prepared early for the blog hop (tee hee). I am inspired to take out this flower set and try your technique.

Another technique I've forgotten about but love the results. Your vellum colored on the backside of the flowers looks awesome ~ all framed. Lots of textures here but beautifully done, Birgit!

Each part of your card perfectly supports the whole feeling of spring. Your vellum piece is awesome, love the coloring and with lace backing; it reminds me of the beautiful embroidery that my dear grandma created. Beautiful card!
