PTI MIM ~ Shadowing With Copics and a Surprise Find!

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  This week's MIM video, Danielle showed us about adding shadows using copic markers.  Though it's hard to see in the picture below, the shadow is really there!

I pretty much CASE-d Danielle's design because I loved how she stamped an image on the top left and lower right, behind the frame to give her card flow.  My original layout needed the same thing, so I used the balloon from Heart 2 Heart #2 and used the rock n' roll technique on each balloon to give them shadows as well.  I used one of the Birthday Trio word dies and added a shadow using copic #RV10.  Maybe if you enlarge the photo, you'd be able to see it...

I added one of the sweet cakes from Just desserts to the bottom left corner of my card.  I heat embossed the strawberries in red.  Mmmmmm......  Looks yummy!

I also wanted to show you a cool discovery I made.
Remember this barn card I made HERE?  Well, it turns out that the barn is the perfect size for the Tiny Town Basics die from PTI.  With a little finagling, I created this fun little barn box!

You can see that the barn extends just a little beyond the house die, but I made it work and kind of like how it came out.

So now I have another building to add to my little Tiny Town village.  ;0)

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings~ Birgit
