Sharing the Love with Winnie & Walter and Ellen Hutson

Good morning friends~  I'm sharing the love today with the The Classroom and Winnie & Walter where today's challenge is on background building and yesterdays challenge was on letting the focus be on the sentiment.

I've got two cards, one for each challenge.

I'll start with the background building card:

For this card, I used Winnie & Walters The Big, The Bold & Extras Creative Screenings and stenciled these beautiful blooms onto a piece of white card stock to create the background.  I then cut the panel using three stitched rectangles and popped the middle rectangle up using some foam tape.  I heat embossed the sentiment in the center and added some W&W gorgeous sequins.

This next card focuses on the sentiment:
I used W&W In Bloom ~ Eva's Favorite Flowers stamp set to make a background.  I stamped these fabulous flowers onto a white card stock panel and cut it with a stitched edge die and adhered it to a mint green card base.  I heat embossed the first part of the sentiment onto a black die cut banner using white embossing powder and attached it to the card top with some twine.   I heat embossed the second part of the sentiment onto the bottom of the card and outlined it using a copic and then finishing it off with more W&W sequins.

I hope you find time to check out the fun at both The Classroom and the Winnie & Walter blog and join in on the fun.  There's some prizes up for grabs!

I'll also be adding one of these cards to the following challenges:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings~ Birgit

These two cards are great. I love the bold flowers of the first one and how you incorporated the frame. The second one looks like patterned paper. Great job on nailing the classroom homework :)
