Good morning~ I'm so happy to have found time this week to play along with two different challenges.
I was inspired by Melissa Phillips stunning card found HERE for PTI's Create Along With Us.
Here's my version:
I used Mix & Match Flourishes Die to cut the frame using Pale Peony card stock. The leaves are from Embellished Elegance and the flowers are from Ruby Rose. The sentiment is from Happiness In Bloom.
My next project is a tag for the Tag You're It challenge. I haven't played along with their challenge in quite some time but was thankful to find time to play as I loved Lindsey's CAS style on her beautiful tag.
Here's my take using PTI's Tag Sale #3 and Nostalgic Notions.
For some reason the photo came out really dark and washed out. I don't know why. In real life the colors are vivid and the white is bright, but you get the idea. ;0)
There's still time to play along with both of these challenges so check them out and join in on the fun!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Blessings~ Birgit
Oooooh Birgit...both your card and your tag came out so beautifully!!! Love your re-creation of Melissa's card and all the bright and colorful colored flowers against the die cut frame...so pretty! Love that little strip of gingham behind everything too!! And your tag is CAS perfection my friend...love it!! :0)ReplyDelete
BEAUTIFUL JOB! I need to pull out those very dies & use them more-PTI! ;) AND your tag looks FABULOUS TOO! ;) SUPER JOB!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)ReplyDelete
Lovely tag and card, Birgit. Love the colors of your card casing Melissa.ReplyDelete
Yay, Brigit! So happy to have you join the TYI challenge, with such a gorgeous tag! Not washed out at all! Completely bright and happy with the Nostalgic Notions flowers. Love that dotty ribbon! And your case is a beauty. Love all things Melissa, so to love your card is easy. It's colors, and layers, just sweet as can be! Your added sequins in all those colors make it extra lovely!ReplyDelete
I really like red and white cards and your tag is so pretty with the touch of green. Glad you had time to play along with both challenges, although I don't know how you manage to do it. Your florals are always so pretty with the colors you use and the layout on the first card is perfect with that gingham behind the frame.ReplyDelete
Beautiful Tag! Love your CASE of Melissa's card! I adore that Mix and Mat die, so happy I bought it too! Gorgeous flowers!ReplyDelete
Wonderful card and tag Birgit! I like how you only popped out some of the negative holes on your card, it makes it much more interesting.ReplyDelete
Fabulous case of Melissa, love the pink and yellow! Your tag is wonderful and not washed out at all. The tag border and your polka dot ribbon are perfect together!ReplyDelete

Your card and tag are beautiful! I am amazed with your layered design on your card. Everything is so perfectly placed and frames the sentiment beautifully! I love your interpretation of Lindsey's tag - you can see the influence, but it is a gorgeous style all your own. Thanks for joining in on the fun over at Tag, You're It!ReplyDelete
