I'm always running a day late and a dollar short and when it's crunch time for Christmas gift shopping, I turn to gift cards. They fit all sizes and tastes, especially when you're gifting them to teenagers.
Today's project is quick and easy to whip up for last minute Gift Card Holders. Here's a snapshot of the products I used today:
I started by cutting three gift gift card holders from 65 LB Limeade Pop Tones Cardstock. The gift card holder die is the perfect size for getting three holders out of one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11" cardstock.
I assembled the gift card holders using Score-Tape Premium Double Sided Adhesive. Next I cut three stitched rectangles out of 80LB Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and did some layered stamping.
I cut several snowflakes out of 65LB Sno Cone Pop Tones cardstock. I adhered the stamped rectangles to the front of the assembled gift card holders and glued the snowflakes on using Tombow MonoMulti-Purpose Liquid Glue.
I did a little more stamping on the back side flap and body of the gift card holder.
Here they are filled and ready to give!
For a final touch I added some pretty blue gems to the centers of the snowflakes.
Be sure to sign up for the newsletter at Cut Card Stock to be notified on all the amazing sales each month. This month you'll find all Stardream Metallic Cardstock on sale.
Thanks for stopping by!

Cute, cute, cute Birgit! Love the colors you used and the pretty stamping on the front and back! Who makes the actual die you used? I'm doing quite a few gift cards myself this year, so you're not alone!! :0)
Wow, a great gift card Birgit, beautifully decorated!
Birgit, I see it has been awhile since I have made any comments. These gift card holders are so pretty. And the previous cards are all so lovely. Also, want to thank you for the beautiful Christmas card. Anyway, hope to get some crafting done this week. I'm all decorated, have my gifts wrapped and need to do some baking. Have a great week, my friend.
These are so pretty Birgit! Love the colors!
Oh these are fabulous! LOVE the colors!!!
Such a great idea for gift cards, Birgit. The colors you've used for the front stamping give a beautiful nostalgic look, I think. Love the new header on your blog too!
This non-shopper has seven to make, Birgit! Thanks for the beautiful inspiration, and the reminder to get them done already!
