12 Kits of Occasion ~ January

Welcome to my month~end post for 12 Kits of Occasion for January!  Jeanne Jachna (A Kept Life) is our creative hostess for this month and her kit just oozes with winter fun & sweetness!

Everything she included in the kit was new to me and the colors and papers..... pure delight!  I had so much fun creating with this kit.  Thank you so much Jeanne!!!
Look at the cute little sign the snowman is holding.  This was cut from one of the printed papers in the kit.

I love the woodgrain paper and these little wooden snowflakes.  They go perfectly together!  And just look at that darling patterned paper!!!

Jeanne sent all the makings for this fun little shaker card.  So cute!

More yummy patterned paper!  The sentiment is one of my own stamps, which I heat embossed in white.  It just had to go on this card!

I was playing around with these little tiles that were cut from one of the design papers that was in the kit.  Do you like this card with the tiles...
or without?

Be sure to visit the 12 Kits of Occasion blog to see how my team mates were inspired to use this kit.

My dear, sweet friend Marcia Hill of Marcia's Stamp Pad is guesting this month too, so you won't want to miss a single post!

Thanks for stopping by!

You got a lot of cards out of this kit; all beautifully done and so wintery. Love the colors on them and all the little critters.

First off: I love that perfect tile with your little sledding bear - also love that we both gave her a pink scarf!
You really were very creative with those tiles, Birgit - I'm having one of those palm-to-the-head moments - hope my brain can store this idea for another time!
Every paper used perfectly, every single card a charmer, my friend! OH yes, the skating by sentiment HAD to be used!

And I really like the way you added the tiles to your sledding bear too...looks great without them but FABULOUS with them! Love your shaker card and deer card too! I can see you definitely had FUN with this kit too! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! :0)

Oh Birgit, love every one! Sweet touches of pastel coloring on each happy little guy. Beautiful skates card. I thought to add silver to the blades too. Love the sentiment you added. Both the bear cards are adorable. Leaning towards the tiles, but I'm all about layers. And the addition of the tiles, especially the pass one is adorable! Hugs, sweet friend!

This is such a charming collection of cards! Each is so sweet. I have to say, though, I so love the combination of elements you used to create the beautiful deer card. The background, the wood grain, everything!

Hi Birgit! You have every little detail just right.. the little note in the snowman's hand - the deer with the deer background and wood veneer, the little bird perched on the fishing pole! Amazing winter scenes that fill my heart with delight!

A post full of cuteness!! While they are all as sweet as can be, the fishing bear wins my heart. Love that you made silver skate blades too and had the perfect sentiment to accompany them. All delightful cards Birgit!

WOW. I am blown away by all the cute cards you made with Jeanne's kit. I am totally kicking myself for not using those skates...and I am so sorry I didn't use the deer patterned paper. You used all of this months elements to the max. Thank you for allowing me to join you all this month!

Birgit you always amaze me with the amount of cards you create, you must use most of your kits up. So glad I didn't so I can CASE your idea with my leftovers!! So many cute ideas, I have to say I love the bear WITH the ski pass, gives me a great idea for scrapbooking some ski time memories! Ack, they are all just awesome!!
