Hello everyone. Today starts a new challenge over at Dies R Us Challenge blog and the theme is "You're A Star"! You must use a star somewhere on your project.
I'm thinking ahead and made a Christmas card so now I can officially say I started making my Christmas cards for this year. YAY me! I created a flat shaker element for my card using Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Stars.
You can see that this card is reasonably flat for mailing. I opted to use Glue Lines from Glue Dots instead of foam tape, filling the inside of the pocket with clear seed beads. This makes a mail friendly shaker card.
Products I used were:
Lawn Fawn Large Cross Stitched Rectangles
Taylored Expressions Birch Tree Accessories
Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Stars
Authentique 6x6 Believe Paper Pad
Tim Holtz Christmas Ephemera
Pop by the Dies R Us Challenge blog and join in on the fun! You could be the winner of a $10 gift card.
I'll be adding this card to the following challenges:

This is such a wonderful Christmas card. Thank you for joining us at Word Art Wednesday. I would like to share with you God's Word in John 8:12 which says, "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” God's Word is timely and timeless. Have a blessed weekend!
