Festive Deer Ornament Box ~ Dies R Us ~ Anything Christmas

Hello~  Today starts a new challenge over at the DRU Challenge blog and the theme is "Anything Christmas".  I've been busy making these shadow box ornaments and thought I'd share one with you today using dies I purchased at Dies R Us.
I created the shadow box using Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 8 and cut a stitched oval out of the center of the front shaped panel.  I covered the front panel with printed paper from Moda Scrap Christmas Holidays and lined the inside of the box with printed paper from Simple Stories Vintage Christmas. I added some Stickles to the background for added detail.

The deer is from Taylored Expressions Birch Tree Accessories.  I rubbed some Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and adorned him with a wreath element from Tim Holtz Christmas Ephemera pack, which I also added some stickles.  The greens on the purchased flower are from Elizabeth Craft Designs Festive Glow.

You can find all the details and join in on the fun here.
The winner will receive a gift card to Dies R Us.

Thanks for stopping by!

This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL Birgit!! How big are these boxes? Are they pretty tiny or more like 5 or 6 inches tall? The papers are so pretty and I just LOVE the deer with the wreath around his neck! Gorgeous details and just beautifully done!! :0)

This is such an amazing ornament! I assume the box isn't too large in order to use for an ornament. What a great idea and fun to decorate. Love the fabulous woodgrain paper and all your wonderful accessories!
