Hello to my 12 Kit's friends and followers~ Boy, am I happy to see February end! Are you all itching for spring as much as I am?? March roars in like a lion and leaves like lamb so by the end of March, I should certainly be seeing signs of spring here on the east coast. Nancy Penir was our hostess this month and she taunted us with signs of an early spring in her lovely kit "Party in the Park".
All the contents in Nancy's kit were new to me and the papers are all so lovely! I
hoarded saved a couple of my favorites because I just know I'll be inspired by my talented team mates to use them in a better way. Thanks Nancy for a delightful kit!!
This was the first card I made and it's also my favorite. This magical sea dragon looks like he's just waiting for the tiniest little mermaid to hop along for a ride in his underwater sea race.
Are you there too?? He's been given a healthy dose of WOS for extra sparkle and shine.
You can't have a party in the park without the friendly little otters coming along.
He floats lazily along this slider path bearing gifts.
Oh look! It's a pinata party!!
That row of sparkly hearts was a piece of tape Nancy used to seal a gift bag with. It was the perfect color for this card
I'll end with this beauty! Those die cut roses from Altenew are a "must have". Paired with this beautiful gold enhanced printed paper..... GAAA.... need I say more? (Sorry, I've been sick all month long, so my words escape me).
I hope you'll visit the 12 Kits of Occasion blog to see how the rest of my team mates were inspired by Nancy's lovely kit.
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh Birgit, my jaw was dropping with every card! Such a delightful underwater adventure, and that otter floating in his patterned paper sea! I LOVE those pink pinatas, and gorgeous roses paired with that gold sentiment! GAAA says it all, and is a fully acceptable expression, especially when one has been sick all month! I hope you're on the mend now.ReplyDelete

Beautiful cards Birgit! I love the different styles and emotions that ran through me looking at them. . The sparkly seahorse, otter slider (I love a tricky card), and festive pinatas.. and then you finish with that romantic bloom of roses... swoon! Wonderful roller coaster ride!ReplyDelete
So sorry you haven't been feeling well. Your cards all turned out so beautiful that thankfully it didn't hamper your creativity. Your green sea dragon is truly awesome--love the color--and what die did you use for that wonderful oval? Nancy included so many fabulous patterned papers like that great one that worked perfectly for both watery designs. You made your otter even greater with the fun slider! And speaking of fun, I love the festive pinata party design and the fantastic 3D roses! We're still on our roller coaster winter weather here. Looking forward to a little sunshine soon!ReplyDelete
So sorry you've been sick Birgit. There certainly are a lot of germs floating around. Hope they leave your nest soon! Your cards are absolutely splendid!
