I Heart Vintage Valentines

Hello lovelies~  I've been in a vintage crafting mood lately and created this fun vintage inspired valentine card for your viewing pleasure.  Be prepared to be inundated on my blog with more vintage love from my craft room!  Once I got going, I just couldn't stop myself.

The lacy background frame was cut using a Marianne Designs Label die. The "Heart String" is from Penny Black and are colored with Copics.  The little poppets on this card and the pretty heart sentiment were found online and printed on my home printer and fussy cut.  For anyone who knows me, you know I dislike fussy cutting very, VERY much!

I added more Penny Black "Ardor" hearts on the inside and the Be My Valentine Postcard Script sentiment from Poppy Stamps was cut out of red glitter paper.

I hope you enjoyed this little Valentine from me to you!

I'll be entering this card into the following challenges:

Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Aw, Birgit, this is gorgeous and looks just like the Valentines that I still have of my grandmother's from the 1910s and 20s! Obviously she loved them and so did we, since we still have them! For someone who doesn't like to fussy cut, you do it VERY well! Gorgeous coloring of those hearts too!
