Friendship Farm

Hello and happy Monday!  Sorry I've been MIA for a while.  Life has a way of draining all that brings me joy recently, and I'm trying really hard to stay on top of it.  Anyway, before I left for a mother-daughter getaway, I made these cards using Concord & 9th Friendship Farms Bundle
I love the shape of this label die that comes in the set.  It's the perfect size for a focal point on an A2 sized card and it can be used in so many ways.  On each of the cards, I stamped the wood plank background using Petals & Pallets in a soft ink to created a 'washed' look.

All the dies and stamps you see on these cards are included in the Friendship Farms set.

Simon Says Stamp is currently having their Stamptember celebration so one of these cards will be entered into the exclusive collaboration for Concord & 9th.

I'll also be adding one of these cards to the following challenges:
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes

 Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, Birgit... what is there about Fall? As much as I love it, the season does give way to thoughts of endings: the gardens, the warm weather, etc. Not to mention the shorter days. Glad to read you had a chance to spend a weekend with your DD, and hope you soaked up good amounts of sunshine and the love you have for each other.
Your cards are just darling - love all the wood: grains, and washes. The carrots stole my heart - definitely love them a bunch!
Take care of that sweet heart of yours, my friend... xx

Your Autumn collection of cards here is so pretty, love that little banner on the first with your pumpkin, like the different shades of paper you used. That label die is great for the background to all of them, cute sentiment on the second and love the apples in that basket.
Continued prayers for you and the family, so glad you were able to get away for a weekend.

So wonderfully "country" and adorable! The gingham is perfect with your layered pumpkin. And I love the baskets filled with yummy goodies. Adore the 'love you bunches' sentiment! I was so happy to hear you and Amanda were able to enjoy a weekend away. I'm sure it was good for both of you and hopefully you were able to return refreshed and feeling more peaceful. Sending many hugs!!!
