Good morning friends~ There's a new challenge starting up over at the Dies R Us Challenge blog and if you recall, the theme is "Anything Goes" all year long!
This makes it so easy for us, as a design team, and for you, as a participant!
Today's card uses this wonderful Sue Wilson Designs Die set from Creative Expressions called Make A Cake. There are endless possibilities when it comes to layering this cake.
ETA: I write my posts up months in advance and this particular die has been sold out, but there are a number of layered cake dies that are currently in stock now.
I cut the cake plate from the set out of gold mirror cardstock and added gold candy dots to bring attention to it.
I hope you'll visit the DRU Challenge blog to see more inspiration from our amazing design team and join in on the fun. While you're there, be sure to sign up for their newsletter so you can be one of the first to be notified of their special order events.
Thanks for stopping by!

Love the way you've 'decorated' this cake! Darling card, Birigt. You've also reminded me I haven't used my LF quilted die in a long time!

Very pretty card and what a clever idea to use a plaid for the cake itself!! Would be a fun die to own and have fun decorating as you have stated!!
