Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July friends!  I'm celebrating our independence with a couple of cards for the occasion.

This card using this cute Patriotic Bear and Bunny image is from Miss Ink Stamps.

I purchased it last year and hadn't used it until now.  I colored the image with Copics and added white gel pen details.

I then die cut the image out using a postage die from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I blended in a bit of color before removing the image from the postage die.  This card has made its way across the country to my sweet little "P".

This next card uses the ever popular postage die from Waffle Flower.

I discovered that these patriotic dies from Frantic Stamper fit into each of the spaces perfectly.

I don't send out a lot of cards for this occasion, but found myself playing around with these supplies that seldom get used.

I'll be entering one of these cards into the following challenges:
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes
Simon Says Monday Challenge ~ Red, White and / or Blue
A Cut Above ~ July Anything Goes

Have a safe and happy 4th my friends!

Thanks for stopping by!

What a darling patriotic card for your Sweet P! I hadn't heard of these stamps, but this one is certainly adorable. Those little Frantic Stamper dies are perfect for the postage theme. It's been a minute since I made a card for this occasion. Happy 4th to you!

Birgit, both of your cards are fantastic and truly patriotic, too! That little, tiny string of firecrackers is adorable!

They are both great, love the bear with the bunny being patriotic together. So nice when we can find different companies goodies going with other companies things. It looks like these were made for each other!

Birgit, both of these are lovely! The bear and bunny with the flag are so cute. And you've done a great job with the stamp dies from Waffle Flower. I really should get those. I see so many nice projects with them. I'm glad you found some extra things to fill the spaces. I think that intimidates me a little. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We really appreciate you!

Wonderful cards, Birgit! Those FS dies are perfect with the postage stamp background die. I love that diagonal striped paper that really does look like a postal design. Such cute die cut images...hat, firecrackers. I'm so sad to see FS closing. And that sweet card for your little P. I'm sure it was exciting to get this in the mail. Thank you for sharing with A Cut Above's July, "Anything Goes With A Die Cut" Challenge.
