Hello dearies! A few weeks back, my sweet friend Marcia shared some cutie little crabs from Waffle Flower with me. She's so good at sharing her toys. Anyway, they've been sitting on my desk just waiting for me to get back in to my craft room. When I saw the colors from Color Hues this week, I just knew I had to put those little crabs together and do something using their colors RED & BLUE.
The background dp is from Stampin' Up and the alphabet letters from from Scrapbook.com
I think I used the smallest crab in the bunch and made him look like he was grabbing the letter "b" from my sentiment.
I'll be adding this card to the following challenges:
Color Hues #116 ~ Blue & Red

Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes

This card couldn't be any more perfect for the red & blue challenge Birgit and I'm so glad you got a chance to use those fun little crabs! I love your background and the sentiment...too FUN!! Thanks so much for sharing this ADORABLE card with us at Color Hues my friend...LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
This is so cute, Birgit! I love that little crab die. He's hanging on to that B just like the real thing does when it grabs on! Ouch, I've had a few latch on to me in the past. So nice of Marcia to share some cuts.
Look at his little pinchers arranging those letters... too cute! This is perfect for the color, Birgit. That Marcia is a sweetheart!
OMGosh, this is so cute! I have loved these crabs when Marcia used them, and now I'm loving them in your hands! Perfect background paper, so much personality! Love the sentiment and how the crab is grabbing one of the letters. So clever. It sure works great for the Color Hues blue and red challenge!
That is just too cute, I like how he is grabbing the letter. The background is just perfect, and like the little one inside holding the balloon, so fun!
Birgit, I love crab... wait. I LOve your crabby card! wait... oh heck, your use of that darling WF crab is just perfect for sending late wishes with a chuckle! [and I happen to know it brought a few to that gift giver 'cuz I heard them for myself!]

Such a cool card, Birgit! I love that background. And that crab is so funny! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday! We really appreciate your work! :)
I simply came here to tell you that your card is just so adorable - and then I noticed the pattern in the background ... you could totally link this up at the Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge! I have nothing to do with them but I had the challenge printed out to try to make something for it and couldn't help but notice! LOL
