Friend

Ok, one more card and I'll find something else to do, I promise. ;0) I'm entering this card into the Curtain Call ~ Girly Challenge

I created my own background by stamping a background stamp from Heidi Swapp and adding some distress inks to it to give it some age. I cut a doily using one of the doily dies from Top Dog Dies and cut the center out of it so I could slip the lilies from MFT through the center. The lilies are colored with copics. A simple sentiment finishes this off.

I'll also be adding this card to the following challenges:
Word Art Wednesday
The Challenge using this beautiful photo inspiration

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge ~ Best Friends

Thanks so much for stopping by! Blessings~ Birgit

What a great take on this inspiration photo. The background you've created is so cool, and I love the distressed look of it. That doily is simply amazing and I love the lilies that you've made and tucked into it. Really a pretty card. Bev

You can post all day long Birgit...I love seeing all your creativity! And this one is definitely a winner! Totally love your background (one of my favorite Heidi Swapp stamps!!) and that doily with the center cut out is just perfect for your lilies to nest in! Lovely, lovely card!! :0)

This is so very pretty, Birgit. Your background is so well done, I thought it was patterned paper. And, the combination of that, the doily and flowers, make it such a pretty and feminine card.

This card is so gorgeous! And ha! Please keep those cards comin'! I'd be happy if you spent 24 hours a day crafting because I always love seeing what you create! On this card, I really love the organic look, yet it's still fancy with the doily. I have never thought of cutting out the center of a doily, so I have to thank you for being such a visionary on that. And those flowers poking through! So pretty! Love everything about this and am so glad you continue to support our challenges here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

What a beauty! I love the vintage feel it exudes! We are so blessed you joined our Challenge weeks ago and would love for you to join our new Challenge still ongoing at Word Art Wednesday. Want to leave you with the inspiration of the Scripture in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 which says, "But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. " Have a lovely week.
