Sweet Summer Strawberries

July is strawberry season here in Maine.  There's nothing more refreshing than a cup of sweet summer strawberries to whet your whistle on a hot summer day.

Here's how I made this card:

Create an A2 size top folding card base.  Score lines down the front at every 1/2" and adhere a wide strip of gingham to the bottom using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

Die cut the Teacup from white cardstock and add coordinating gingham strips to the cup using Kids Choice Glue.  Cut through the score line on the rim of the teacup using an X-Acto knife.

Die cut the Strawberries from White Soft Finish Cardstock and add color using Distress Inks.  Assemble the strawberries using Kids Choice Glue.

Cut several of the same style flowers from Bunch of Flowers 4 and add a bit of color in the centers using Mustard Seed Distress Ink.
Mold the flowers on a molding pad using the ball stylus from Susan's Garden 4 pc. All Metal Tool Set.

Cut a smaller sized Dotted Scallop Rectangle and stamp the sentiment from General Sentiments in black ink.

Assemble your card using Kids Choice Glue.  Add a little sparkle to the center of the flowers using gem accents.

I'll be adding this card to the following challenges:
Seize The Birthday ~ Red, White & You (The color Green)

Crop Stop ~ July Linky Party
City Crafter Challenge ~ Red & Green
