Painted Background & Christmas Tags

Good morning friends.  I'm popping in with a card I made for this week's Make-It Monday Challenge at PTI.  Dawn inspired us to create a painted background.  Here's what I came up with:
I used tones of green, blue and teal with a touch of gold like Dawn did.

I cut the painted background using the Mix & Mat Postal Die and added some Holiday Greens and one of the houses from Winter Village.  The sentiment is from Winter Village.

I also made a couple of tags for day 1 of Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  I'm so glad I can play along this year.  I was inspired by Shari Carrol's beautiful tag using some supplies from Tim Holtz.

I just happened to get some of the same supplies in and hadn't used them yet so it was fun to recreate a similar design on my tags as Shari's beautiful tag found here.

The poinsettia is from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Thanks for stopping by!
