Hello friends ~ Double D Challenges is starting a new challenge today and the theme is "Things with Handles".
....Interesting!
I confess that I picked out my die before looking at the mood board.
I asked myself, what types of things have handles, and the first thing that came to my mind was this Woven Basket Pop Up Easel die from Poppystamps. I did all the inking in the background and on the basket using DOX inks.
I filled the basket with the grass and leaf dies that are included in the set and then I added this sweet bunny from Lil' Inkers Bunnies & Bows. I added some clear stickles glitter glue to the berries.
I enjoyed working with this die set so much! You may recall me using it in this post here for Dies R Us.
I had some Christmas dies that I put together before Christmas, left over and they filled this basket perfectly!
Here's a photo of all three basket cards together:

Adorable baskets of bunnies and friends, love the goodies as well. x
So Springy and Christmassy lol I love that you can create a Basket and then fill it with anything! Next up Mother's Day Flowers! ;) These are fun and fabulous!
OH WOW ... these are all just ADORABLE my sweet friend! Fabulous inspiration! Have a great day!
This Easter basket brings back memories of my childhood. Last year, by teenage grandkids still wanted Ester baskets. Your soft coloring and best and I love that you didn't stop there. Both the bunny and chicks are so cute, but the Christmas leftovers are so creative and pleasing.
Your basket is just too cute, I love that you put a chocolate bunny inside :) Just perfect for Easter coming!
Oh Birgit...these baskets are absolutely ADORABLE and I'm totally loving both the Easter one with the bunny and the Christmas one with the gingerbread man and cupcake!! And the one with the chicks is super sweet too! Could I get you to cut me out a basket or two? White would be fine. Thank you, thank you!! Hugs. :0)
Oh my gosh, these are so cute! And the baskets could be filled with masculine items too (hint, hint, wink, wink!) I'm loving that chickie with the shell cap. 3 cuties!
I love all these ideas and inspiration. I have that die and it is so cute for the different holidays.
Your darling baskets just make me smile! They're filled with sweetness!
These are all adorable! You've really "got a handle" on those baskets - lol!
OMG Birgit, ALL the baskets are adorably CUTE! I have looked at this die many times, now wish I had gotten it, so many options with it like you have shown us...the perfect handle creation!!
Oh my gosh, these little baskets are so stinkin' adorable, and I love that you made one a Christmas basket. And who wouldn't love to get a basket with a chocolate bunny. Your sponging is wonderful here, the perfect final touch!!
Fabulous Easter and Christmas cards Birgit, I love the basket die!
I love your bunny basket, Birgit, but all of these basket cards are fantastic. That die cut is awesome. You've added the perfect touch of greenery around the bunny and shading to the wicker design on the basket. Thanks for the lovely BD card! Sent you a message.
