Hello friends ~ There's a new challenge starting up over at Dies R Us and the theme is "Summer" What's more beautiful than the flowers that bloom in summer.
I have a card and matching gift tag for your viewing pleasure today!
I started by cutting the pretty Impression Obsession Cosmos flowers out of white cardstock and sponged on some color using Distress Oxide Ink.
I layered the cosmo flowers together and added a touch of Silk Microfine Glitter, randomly to the edges of the flower petals. I colored the smaller flowers from the Cosmos die set in the same manner, and once they were attached to the card, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops to the flower centers.
The birthday sentiments dies are from Spellbinders.

So beautiful! Love the soft pink tones of your fab cosmos and your matching Tag--I adore Tags! Just watered my gardens and lots of cosmos, even the white ones are beautiful! Love your perfect beautiful card and Tag set!
Your Cosmos are beautiful Birgit! I love the soft coloring and glitter on them and the lovely plaid backgrounds on both the card and tag...a lovely, lovely duo!! Hugs. :0)
Love the coordinating tag that goes with this beautiful card.

Oh my that is so lovely, I love the sponging you have done on the flowers, so soft and pretty, like the texture behind too and the matching tag is just as pretty!
A gorgeous set, now these really look like Cosmos! I bought Cosmo seeds this year but never got them planted, so nice to see your pretty ones, easier to take care of too LOL!!
I like the pretty pastel colored flowers and the trellis behind them! These are wonderful, Birgit!
What a lovely gift set. Cosmos are always such pretty and happy flowers, and your card and tag are no different. Love the background you made to showcase these lovely flowers. Beautifully done, Birgit. Hugs ~ Lena
