Hey Ho, friends! Christmas is drawing near and I'm working hard in the card shop, finishing up Christmas cards for this year. Honey Bee stamps recently released their ah-mazing Christmas Lovely Layers Bundle and I am in LOVE!
Let's start with the Winter Greenery Honey Cuts die set. Gorgeous, and so detailed! This die set includes 11 dies that will cover every type of greenery you could possibly want for your Christmas decorating.
I cut the greens and berries from various colors of cardstock from my scrap box and added a bit of Distress Oxide Inks to enhance the colors.
Of course, what better container to put your greenery in than the Vintage Picnic Basket. This picnic basket is genius! I can see this picnic basket being used for Valentine's, filled with hearts or love letters, or both! Think springtime and Mother's Day, filled with your favorite flowers. The list could go on and on!
Adding to this wonderful collection, is the Winter Birds Honey Cuts.
The layers on this cardinal are stunning! After all the layering was complete, I sponged on a bit of black ink to add depth and detail to the bird. I enjoy feeding and watching the birds at our feeders during the long, cold winter months, and cardinals are among my many visitors. Their antics as they hop from feeder to feeder make me smile.
The Winter Birds die set includes both a cardinal and a chickadee, which you'll see in a later post. These cards came together so quickly, using colored cardstocks, Distress Oxide Inks and a white gel pen for added detail.
