Hello friends! It's the first Wednesday of the month and that means that Double D Challenge is starting a new challenge, with the theme "To Spook or Not To Spook" or October Breast Cancer Awareness Month (pink)".
I chose to spook, but not too much, with this retired ol' ghost from Elizabeth Craft Design.
It's a little hard to tell in the picture, but he's cut out of pink cardstock to honor Breast Cancer Awareness month, with a bit of pink distress ink around his edges. He's placed over a slightly larger vellum ghost.
This "not so spooky" ghost floats above the giant Patchwork Pumpkin from Honeybee Stamps. I've added a spider from Frantic Stamper and a pair of batty friends from ECD.
Here is a little inspiration for you, put together by Diane.
You can probably see I drew inspiration from a few of these tiles.
Float on over to Double D Challenge for more amazing inspiration from our amazing team. I can't wait to see your projects in the linky line up!
Here's the prize that you could win when you play along.
Thanks for stopping by!

A fabulously fun card and I am glad your ghost got to make a 'ghostly' appearance with the fun pumpkin (one of my favorite dies), a fun spooky ( or not ) great Halloween pink scene!!
Oh that pumpkin! Fabulous! And your sweet little pink ghost, wondering what he is really thinking--with his knitted brow lol CUTE!!!
Delightful! Love the dancing ghost and spider. Tthe pumpkin is fantastic! They're all having fun in the light of that silvery, sparkling moon.
Those eyes tell a different story, Birgit - but I LOVE spooky and also your darling layered pumpkin - and that fabulous moon!

I LOVE that you combined the two theme ideas together in one fabulous creation! Great job my friend!
I like your big ol' pumpkin front and center in your spooky little scene! Cute card, Birgit!
Oh, it's pretty and not too scary at all! The little ghost is making an effort, but that smile gives his friendly nature away. Love the patchwork pumpkin. We used to make those with oval punches and I'm thinking I would like to do that again. Thanks for the reminder!
Oh my goodness is this ever CUTE Birgit!! I love that sweet ghost in the pink and your patchwork pumpkin is perfection! Your background with the moon is FABULOUS my friend and totally pulls this whole card together! Love, LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
Very cute, I so love your pumpkin with all the patterns, very cool background to it too, put together perfectly
You have inspired me to make more cute spooky cards for Halloween. I don't usually do any, but this card is the sweetest thing. I am back from vacation and wanting to craft.
Super cute card. I love how your little ghost is chatting with the spider. Great homage to breast cancer awareness month with the pink sky. Well done.
So beautiful and a great inspiring design x
