Holiday Decor ~ TupeloDesignsLLC

Hello and merry Thursday!  It's my turn to post for TupeloDesignsLLC and I'm in full on Christmas mode.
Today's project is so easy and quick.  Just perfect for last minute gifting or decorating.

I whipped together this set of framed holiday prints using Simple Stories Merry & Bright Paper Pad.

I keep empty frames on hand that I've picked up from Goodwill here and there, to use for different types of projects.  You just never know when you'll need a frame.  When the Merry & Bright paper pad arrived, I was smitten by the large, full size prints that were included in the paper pack.
I picked out three prints and added some Stickles in coordinating colors to add interest and detail to the already sweet images.

I hope you can see the glitter from the stickles.  They're darn hard to capture in a photograph.  Especially for someone with very limited photography skills, like me.

While the stickles were drying, I picked out three frames and gave them a few coats of white spray paint.

Once everything was dry, I fit them into the frames using coordinating colored cardstock to mat a couple of them so they would fit into larger frames.

Quick and easy and oh, so cute!

I hope you're inspired by todays project.

A Friend Like You ~ TupeloDesignsLLC

Hello ~ It's my turn to post for TupleloDesignsLLC and today's cards use some delightful products from My Favorite Things.
MFT's Mod Birds caught my eye when it was first released and I was thrilled when I saw them in stock in the store.

I cut a panel of Neenah Solar White 80Lb cardstock using a Stitched Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs

I then embossed the Peekaboo Circle from MFT in the center and blended in Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Cracked pistachio.

I stamped and die cut the Mod Birds in a soft and simple color palette and added some splashy dots using MFT's Watercolor Whimsy stamp set.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Thank You Friend.

I hope you're inspired by todays projects.

Winterberry Wishes and a WINNER! ~ TupeloDesignsLLC

Hello friends~  I'm here with another post for TupeloDesignsLLC but before I show you my cards I want to announce the winner of the giveaway.  Drumroll please....

And the winner is PATTI
Congratulations to you!  I'll be in contact with you soon so you can choose which Vintage Inspired Shadow Box you'd like me to send to you.  Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to comment.  I wish I could send something to all of you but since I can't, I can give you all of my most heartfelt wishes for a very blessed Christmas season.  May it be filled with much love, laughter and good cheer!

Now on to my projects.

Sometimes I find myself short on time, as is the case almost every Christmas when I find I'm falling short on Christmas cards to send to friends and family who live far away.
Tupelo Designs has a wide range of pre-printed die cuts including these that I used today from My Mind's Eyes Winterberry Collection.

I fell in love with the rich earth tones of these die cuts and made lots and lots of cards that I'll share with you today.  Just look at this gorgeous deer!

Before I made the cards, I added coordinating Stickles to each of the dies in the package.

I also added enamel dots to many of the cards to add detail and interest.

There are some frames included in the package that allow for framing beautiful images like the card above or creating shaker cards like this one:

All of these cards came together so quick and easy.  I was able to create nine cards in one afternoon, which is so good since I'm woefully behind on Christmas cards this year.

I used papers from Authentique's Alpine Collection as well as papers I had in my stash that coordinated well together with the die cuts.

I hope you're inspired by todays project.

Jesus, The Reason for the Season ~ Vintage Inspired Shadow Box Part 3 ~ TupeloDesignsLLC

Good morning.  I'm back with the final post for the Vintage Inspired Shadow Boxes I've been making using amazing products found at TupeloDesignsLLC.
You can find the first post here
and the second post here.

I used one of the small vignette boxes on today's project, lining the inside of the box with this wonderful replica of a vintage Western Union Telegram found in the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Ephemera PackI added strips of Christmas plaid Washi-Tape to the edges of the box.

I filled the box with two small bottle brush trees and a vintage Christmas ornament of baby Jesus in a tiny manger.  I added a bit of white Ranger Texture Paste onto the bottom of the scene to look like snow.

The poinsettia and "Special Delivery" sign is from the
Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Ephemera PackI adhered them using Aleen's Always Ready Turbo Tacky Glue.  I also added some dots of cranberry colored Stickles to the poinsettia for added texture.
Jesus was truly the very first "special delivery" of all the ages and he is the reason we celebrate this season of love and giving.

Here's one more vintage inspired shadow box I made recently using many of the same products I found at TupeloDesignsLLC.
This was made using an old cigar box that I covered with papers from Simple Stories.
I found the sweet Salvaged Snowmen from Tim Holtz Idea-ology in the store and just knew they had to come home with me.  There's also one of the many Holiday Flashcards from Tim Holtz tucked in there using an Old English font (Love!) and an Antique Nickel Snowflake Charm from the fabulous Tim Holtz line.

This is the front cover of the box.  Look at the beautiful vintage typography... swoon!

Now you've seen four vintage inspired shadow boxes that I've created.

To kick off this season of giving, I am giving away one of these vintage inspired shadow boxes that I've made and posted about for the last three weeks.

Jolly Ole' Elf Vintage Inspired Shadow Box ~ Part 2 TupeloDesignLLC

Hello friends.  I'm back with Part 2 of the vintage inspired vignette boxes I've been making using products from TupeloDesignsLLC.
You can find my first post here.

Today's project is all about the Elf on the Shelf.  I remember my grandmother having some of these cute little knee hugger elves hanging on her Christmas tree.  Oh how I wish I had those to hang on my tree as I have such a fond memory of taking them off the tree and playing with them when I was a little girl.  But I digress...

For today's project, I used a vintage box that I had on hand and covered it in papers from Simple Stories Simple Vintage Christmas using Aleene's Always Ready Turbo Tacky Glue.  I added some nostalgic holiday elements from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Ephemera Pack.
To the wreath, I added a few dots of cranberry colored Stickles for added texture.

I filled the box with this vintage knee-hugger elf I found at Goodwill and a bottle brush tree from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Tree Lot,  I covered a battery operated tea light with peppermint candy washi-tape to light up the scene.  I used scrabble tiles to spell out the word "Elf".

Would you like to win one of these?  Leave a comment on one or all three of my posts for "Vintage Inspired Shadow Box".  You can find the link to the first post at the top of this post.  Stay tuned next Thursday for part 3 of my Vintage Inspired Shadow Box posts.

National Garlands Vintage Inspired Shadow Box ~ Part 1 TupeloDesignsLLC

Good morning friends.  I'm popping in today with a project I made using some fabulous products found in the TupeloDesignsLLC store.
Tim Holtz is a huge name in the crafting industry and he has an amazing line of vintage style products.

When I saw these Vingnette Box Tops come in the store, I knew I just had to have them.

In fact, I bought several packages of them because I loved them so much and I have vintage loving friends that would enjoy getting one of these filled boxes for Christmas.
The box tops are made to fit over the wooden vignette trays which I covered using paper from Simple Stories Simple Vintage Christmas.

The papers in this pack are so jolly and perfectly vintage!  Aleen's Always Ready Turbo Tacky Glue worked perfectly for adhering all the paper elements on this project.  It dries clear and has a super strong adhesion but because it's a liquid glue, it gives you time to move your paper elements into just the right position.

I also added some vintage images from Tim Holtz Christmas Ephemera

This pack of vintage ephemera is filled with oodles and oodles of images, advertisements and holiday icons.  Enough for dozens of Christmas projects.

The wooden toy soldier is an ornament that I had in my vast collection of Christmas ornaments and the white bottle brush tree is from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Tree Lot.

Would you like to win one of these?  Leave a comment on one or all three of my posts for "Vintage Inspired Shadow Box".  Stay tuned next Thursday for part 2 of my Vintage Inspired Shadow Box posts.  ETA:  Dan, the owner of TupeloDesignsLLC is generously adding a few surprise items to this giveaway.  Thanks so much Dan!
