Good morning. I'm back with the final post for the Vintage Inspired Shadow Boxes I've been making using amazing products found at TupeloDesignsLLC.
You can find the first post here
and the second post here.
I used one of the small vignette boxes on today's project, lining the inside of the box with this wonderful replica of a vintage Western Union Telegram found in the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Ephemera Pack. I added strips of Christmas plaid Washi-Tape to the edges of the box.
I filled the box with two small bottle brush trees and a vintage Christmas ornament of baby Jesus in a tiny manger. I added a bit of white Ranger Texture Paste onto the bottom of the scene to look like snow.
The poinsettia and "Special Delivery" sign is from the
Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Ephemera Pack. I adhered them using Aleen's Always Ready Turbo Tacky Glue. I also added some dots of cranberry colored Stickles to the poinsettia for added texture.
Jesus was truly the very first "special delivery" of all the ages and he is the reason we celebrate this season of love and giving.
Here's one more vintage inspired shadow box I made recently using many of the same products I found at TupeloDesignsLLC.
This was made using an old cigar box that I covered with papers from Simple Stories.
I found the sweet Salvaged Snowmen from Tim Holtz Idea-ology in the store and just knew they had to come home with me. There's also one of the many Holiday Flashcards from Tim Holtz tucked in there using an Old English font (Love!) and an Antique Nickel Snowflake Charm from the fabulous Tim Holtz line.
This is the front cover of the box. Look at the beautiful vintage typography... swoon!
Now you've seen four vintage inspired shadow boxes that I've created.
To kick off this season of giving, I am giving away one of these vintage inspired shadow boxes that I've made and posted about for the last three weeks.
Would you like to win one? Leave a comment on one or all three of my posts for "Vintage Inspired Shadow Box". You can find the link to the first and second post at the top of this post.
