Hello stamping friends ~ I have two cards for you today. The first card was made for the Double D Challlenges "Gingham" challenge. If there's one thing I love, that's gingham! Ok, I love lot's more than just gingham but that one is pretty high on my list.
This sweet little bunny from Frantic Stamper is being teased by that dangling carrot which I had to hand draw. Would you believe with all the stamps and dies I have in my craft room, I didn't have a small carrot. I might have to do some shopping to rectify that.
Memory Box Half Dozen Eggs is a great set of nested egg dies. There's a size for every need and the "Easter" die from Frantic Stamper goes perfectly with it.
My second card was inspired by my incredibly creative friend Marcia. She recently posted a card she made using the "Ghosting" technique, which she showed us how to do last year when we were in Kansas. I had forgotten all about that technique and was reminded how much I enjoyed it when I saw her card here.
I used a stencil from Elizabeth Craft Designs and Distress Oxide Ink to create the "ghosted" background.
This is the sentiment I used for the inside. I'll be giving this card to my sister, but I bet you already guessed that.
I'll also be adding one of these cards to the following challenges.
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes
I hope you are inspired by today's cards.
Thanks for stopping by!
